Duties
- Over two years of experience in Japanese cuisine or fine ding experience .
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as clover POS ensuring efficient order processing
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Manage cash handling, billing, and cashiering responsibilities accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Assist with host/hostess duties during busy periods to manage reservations and seating arrangements
- Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Uphold food handling regulations, sanitation procedures, and proper food preparation practices in compliance with health standards
Experience
- over 21 year's old
- need 2-3 years Japanese sushi restaurant experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Serving or host/hostess experience is a plus for providing seamless guest interactions
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
- Culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial but is not required; enthusiasm for the food industry is essential
