Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage table settings, bussing, and sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist with reservations and seating arrangements using platforms like OpenTable to optimize guest flow
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining a positive guest relations approach

Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
• Basic math skills for order entry, cash handling, and billing accuracy
• Experience with serving in high-energy environments such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants is desirable
