Mexquite Mexican Cuisine & Tequila Lounge is an award-winning, family-owned restaurant that has proudly served the Folsom community since 2007. Voted Best Mexican Restaurant in Folsom for 19 consecutive years, we are known for exceptional hospitality, authentic Mexican cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and a loyal guest following.

We are currently looking for experienced, hospitality-driven servers to join our team.

This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in delivering outstanding guest experiences, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are looking for a stable restaurant with strong earning potential and opportunities for growth.

Applicants with open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability will receive priority consideration.

What You'll Do

• Create memorable dining experiences through attentive, professional service
• Build genuine relationships with guests and create regular customers
• Guide guests through menu selections and confidently make food, beverage, tequila, and cocktail recommendations
• Accurately enter orders using Toast POS
• Deliver food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high service standards
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns quickly and professionally
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked section
• Process payments accurately and responsibly
• Work closely with hosts, bartenders, food runners, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Assist with side work, opening duties, closing duties, and restaurant cleanliness
• Follow all restaurant policies, service standards, alcohol service guidelines, and food safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a full-service restaurant
• Strong communication and hospitality skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment
• Positive attitude and team-first mentality
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to receive coaching and continuously improve
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Weekend availability required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Toast POS
• Bartending experience or cocktail knowledge
• Knowledge of tequila, mezcal, wine, beer, and craft cocktails
• Experience in high-volume restaurants
• Interest in future leadership, training, or shift lead opportunities
