Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and timely delivery
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Assist with food handling, preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with sanitation standards
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues quickly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Support opening and closing procedures including cash handling, cashiering, and inventory checks using OpenTable or similar reservation tools

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience or food service background is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Demonstrated culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation and handling techniques
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment
• Proven ability to upsell menu items and boost sales through effective guest engagement
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience working in fine dining settings or nightclubs is advantageous
• Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and order accuracy
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced hospitality setting
