Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
• Assist with food handling, preparation, and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and sanitation
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently while maintaining accuracy in transactions
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting sanitation protocols in line with food safety regulations
• Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment for all patrons

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy hours
• Proven ability in upselling and sales techniques to enhance guest experiences and increase revenue
• Experience working in hospitality environments that emphasize guest services and guest relations
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and inventory management are essential
• Demonstrated teamwork skills in fast-paced settings such as restaurants or food industry establishments
