Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision and integrity
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met according to health regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly
• Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, handle inquiries, and address concerns professionally

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Experience in food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols necessary for safe service delivery
• Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
• Serving or host/hostess experience is a plus; experience in bussing or supporting kitchen operations is beneficial
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology enhances service quality
