Overview
We are looking for a part time server (2-4 days) for our freshly opened Milpitas location.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety regulations, proper food handling, and sanitation protocols
- Assist with food preparation or bussing tables during busy periods to support kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations
- Support guest services by accommodating special requests and providing personalized hospitality
Experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle diverse guest needs
- Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
- Previous host/hostess or serving experience is a plus, demonstrating strong guest relations skills
- Knowledge of food industry terminology, culinary processes, and restaurant operations enhances performance in this role
Pay: From $45.00 per hour
