Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  • Manage cash handling, billing, and cashiering responsibilities with precision and integrity
  • Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures
  • Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
  • Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow
  • Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
  • Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
  • Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills
  • Host/hostess experience or background in hospitality roles that involve guest interaction is a plus
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
  • Culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; a willingness to learn is valued highly
