Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and answer questions about food and drink options with enthusiasm.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring all special requests are noted.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
• Upsell menu items and suggest pairings to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and provide correct change or receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar areas, and service stations by bussing tables and assisting with sanitation protocols.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, adhering to food safety standards.
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
• Assist with food handling, basic math calculations for bills, and supporting other team members during busy shifts.

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence.
• Experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles demonstrates your ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques is essential.
• Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
