Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and answer questions about food and drink options with enthusiasm.
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
- Upsell menu items and suggest pairings to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and provide correct change or receipts.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar areas, and service stations by bussing tables and assisting with sanitation protocols.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
- Assist with food handling, basic math calculations for bills, and supporting other team members during busy shifts.
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence.
- Experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles demonstrates your ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
