Server

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that patrons have a memorable time at our establishment. This is a smaller sized family owned restaurant, so all servers are expected to assist with seating guests, taking to-go orders, and bussing tables. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system or cash register.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Assist in the kitchen as needed to help prepare food items or assist with culinary tasks.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Promote specials and upsell menu items to enhance sales.

Skills

• Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
• Experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations and the ability to assist when necessary.
• Strong sales skills to effectively promote menu items and specials.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective guest interaction.
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
