Hello, Please let me know which weekday (between monday and Friday) you would like to come to our Vienna location (address: Sushi Oishii, 234 maple Ave east, Vienna) and try it out a table or two, if your time allows. Our morning shift starts at 10:45. Lastly, our payroll is done monthly, i.e. we pay you monthly if you want to work for us and if you are hired. Please wear black t-shirt/pants when you come. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision, including opening and closing checks on POS systems like OpenTable
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables promptly, resetting for new guests, and adhering to sanitation standards
• Support food preparation and kitchen staff when needed, ensuring food safety protocols are followed at all times
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and providing exceptional customer service in a lively atmosphere that may include nightclub elements or bar areas

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable; experience with cashiering is a plus
• Culinary experience or background in food handling, preparation, and sanitation standards
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to boost sales while enhancing guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming environment for all guests
• Basic math skills for accurate check processing and cash handling
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous; experience in nightlife venues or clubs is a bonus
