Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a solid understanding of food and beverage service, and familiarity with various POS systems. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment, delivering memorable guest experiences in both fine dining and casual settings. Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or related fields is preferred to ensure smooth integration into our team and uphold our standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during service
  • Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables for new guests
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and wine or beverage pairings
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred
  • Experience in culinary preparation, food handling, or hospitality roles will be advantageous
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
  • Knowledge of upselling techniques and sales strategies to enhance guest experience and revenue generation
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with guests and team members
  • Basic math skills for cashiering and handling transactions accurately
  • Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
