Must be able to work nights, Saturdays, Sundays, and Texas Tech Games.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha and OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Clear tables efficiently, bus tables as needed, and support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or plating when required
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and dietary options, to answer guest questions confidently

Experience

• Prior restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse needs gracefully
• Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and billing accuracy
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is a plus for providing exceptional guest relations
