Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences, possess strong food and beverage knowledge, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Previous restaurant experience, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings, is preferred. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS system.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Ensure guest needs are met promptly, addressing any special requests or concerns
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS or cashiering systems
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and other guest service duties as needed
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and proper food handling practices
• Uphold sanitation standards and food safety protocols throughout all service activities

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and guest satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as required by the restaurant schedule

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
