Duties

• Welcome guests warmly as a Hostess, managing reservations and seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction
• Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, communicating clearly with kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure timely delivery
• Serve food and drinks with enthusiasm, professionalism, and attention to detail, ensuring all guest needs are met promptly
• Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to uphold high hygiene standards
• Assist food runners by delivering prepared dishes swiftly from the kitchen to tables while ensuring presentation quality
• Support the cleaning process by sanitizing tables, chairs, and service stations regularly to maintain a spotless environment
• Engage with guests courteously, addressing questions or concerns with excellent communication skills to enhance their experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required—enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key!
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
• Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
• Willingness to perform cleaning duties such as sanitizing tables and service areas diligently
• Experience with bussing or serving in a fast-paced environment is a plus but not mandatory
• Knowledge of the food industry or hotel experience can be advantageous for understanding guest expectations
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
