A Server (In Room Dining) with Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts is responsible for delivering exceptional in-room dining experiences by providing guests with food and beverages in an efficient, discreet, and personalized manner, in accordance with luxury service standards and hotel procedures.

What will I be doing

• Deliver in-room dining orders promptly and accurately, ensuring presentation and service meet luxury standards
• Set up trays and trolleys in guest rooms with attention to detail, elegance, and guest comfort
• Provide a courteous and personalized service experience while respecting guest privacy and room etiquette
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menus, dietary information, and preparation methods to confidently explain and recommend items
• Ensure all service equipment, trays, and trolleys are prepared, maintained, and cleared according to hygiene and presentation standards
• Coordinate effectively with the kitchen and order taking team to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
• Complete all before and after service mise en place in accordance with established procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, pantries, and equipment at all times
• Comply with hotel licensing regulations as well as health, safety, and fire procedures
• Maximize revenue opportunities through attentive service, product knowledge, and appropriate upselling techniques
• Handle guest requests, preferences, and special occasions with professionalism and discretion
• Ensure all operational supplies are adequately stocked and properly stored

• Previous experience in luxury hospitality or in-room dining service
• A warm, gracious personality with a polished and professional appearance
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide discreet, personalized service within the guest room environment

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Experience in a luxury hotel in-room dining operation
• Knowledge of fine dining service standards and etiquette
• International hospitality experience
