Duties

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu options, offering recommendations where appropriate to enhance their experience.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Toast, ensuring all details are correct for timely delivery.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and appropriately , and maintain proper sanitation and food safety protocols.
• Assist with general restaurant support when needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours.
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow in the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly valued, especially in fine dining settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast.
• Experience with guest services, hosting, or food handling helps provide seamless service from arrival to departure.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math skills ensures accurate transactions and safe food handling.
• Strong communication skills paired with excellent time management enable you to multitask effectively during peak hours.
