Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Locator to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and possess a strong background in food service and restaurant operations. As a Locator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service while maintaining the efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable systems to manage reservations and guest seating efficiently.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting guests with inquiries and ensuring their dining experience is memorable.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively during peak hours.
• Assist in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain sanitation standards and food safety protocols throughout the restaurant.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures.
• Support bussing duties as needed, ensuring tables are clean and ready for new guests.
• Engage with guests to build rapport and enhance their overall dining experience.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred, particularly in fine dining settings.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha, Micros, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
• Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and basic calculations.
• Experience in guest relations, hospitality, or customer service roles is essential.
• Background in serving, hosting, or kitchen operations will be beneficial.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.14 - $25.46 per hour
