Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately at the end of each shift
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting stations
• Assist with food preparation, food safety protocols, and basic kitchen tasks as needed
• Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a memorable experience
• Support team members during busy hours by providing backup with serving, bussing, or host/hostess responsibilities

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience required; casual dining or bartending experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with Toast POS is advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with food industry tools like serving trays, utensils, and cleaning supplies
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and nights

Pay: $15.92 - $26.05 per hour
