Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately at the end of each shift
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting stations
- Assist with food preparation, food safety protocols, and basic kitchen tasks as needed
- Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a memorable experience
- Support team members during busy hours by providing backup with serving, bussing, or host/hostess responsibilities
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience required; casual dining or bartending experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with Toast POS is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food industry tools like serving trays, utensils, and cleaning supplies
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and nights

Pay: $15.92 - $26.05 per hour
