Server/Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Server/Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, maintaining a clean and organized area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their tastes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Upsell drinks and food items to enhance guest experience while maximizing sales.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when applicable.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing time effectively.
• Experience with cash registers and point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
• A passion for culinary arts and beverage preparation is highly desirable.
