Summary

We are looking for a Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team at Backyard BBQ. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional dining experience while contributing to our mission of providing quality service and delicious food.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the Square POS system.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of front-of-house areas according to food safety standards.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining environment.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Serve drinks from the bar.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Prior experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are required.
• Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy and integrity.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Square, is a plus.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
