Server/Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong knowledge of food and beverage service, and experience working in fast-paced environments. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Candidates should be familiar with POS systems, demonstrate effective time management, and uphold high standards of food safety and responsible alcohol service.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations
• Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth operations
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, including checking IDs and recognizing intoxication signs
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards within the food industry

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred
• Knowledge of POS systems is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate measurement of ingredients
• Familiarity with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; experience in banquet or catering settings is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
