Server/Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/Beertender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for guest relations, providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Beertender, you will be responsible for serving beer, managing the dining room/Bar, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests while dining.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food items, pour and serve beer.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and build rapport, enhancing their overall experience.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems, including Aloha POS.
• Assist with food handling and bussing duties as needed to support the restaurant's operations.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly, ensuring compliance with all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
• Stay updated on menu changes to provide informed recommendations to guests.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in bartending or similar roles is preferred.
• Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems, specifically Aloha POS is a plus.
• Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and compliance standards are met.
• Food Handlers Card.
• Alcohol servers card within 60 days.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members alike.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
