Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit, ensuring a positive dining or drinking experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing transactions efficiently and accurately
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Engage with guests to promote specials, upsell menu items, and enhance customer satisfaction through friendly interaction
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and processing payments securely
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to coordinate timely service during busy periods such as nightlife hours or banquet events

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling and cashiering is essential
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar patrons efficiently during peak hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health standards
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, sales transactions, and retail math calculations
• Experience in catering or banquet service is a plus; familiarity with serving in a hospitality environment enhances your candidacy
• Ability to thrive in dynamic settings such as nightclubs or busy restaurants while maintaining professionalism
