Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen or bar staff
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments swiftly and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist with catering events, banquets, or nightclub service as needed, ensuring timely delivery of food and drinks
• Demonstrate excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally, addressing special requests or concerns promptly

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and sales processing
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy periods
• Experience in fine dining environments or banquet settings is highly desirable
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Knowledge of the food industry trends including brewing techniques or nightclub service standards is a plus
