Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash and credit card payments securely
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, bar, and service stations
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue
• Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and resetting tables for new guests
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to manage seating arrangements effectively
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction

Experience

• Proven experience as a server or bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting; fine dining experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is desirable
• Demonstrated ability in beverage service including cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine expertise, and drink presentation
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous for supporting food prep and sanitation standards
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Familiarity with the food industry’s standards for hospitality, guest relations, and service excellence
