Server/Cashier

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Prepare and serve food items with proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Clear tables, bus tables, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment
• Assist in basic food preparation tasks in the kitchen or café area as needed
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables promptly and professionally

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast-food restaurants is preferred but not required; we welcome eager learners!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
• Experience working in a café, grocery store, or retail environment is beneficial but not mandatory
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude
