Server/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and a strong understanding of the food industry. This role involves taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable dining experience.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide menu information to enhance their dining experience.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Process cash and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy in handling payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area and workstations according to health standards.
• Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Manage time effectively to handle peak hours efficiently while maintaining quality service.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or similar environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong sales skills with an understanding of retail math for accurate cash handling.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $12.00 per hour
