Server/Cashier

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
• Process cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling and basic math skills
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
• Assist with food handling, food preparation, and sanitation to uphold food safety standards
• Clear tables promptly by bussing and supporting kitchen staff during busy hours in a fast-paced setting
• Manage reservations through platforms like OpenTable and coordinate guest seating to optimize flow
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
• Demonstrate excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for supporting food prep when needed
• Excellent time management skills to juggle serving, cashiering, and cleaning duties efficiently
• Prior experience in serving or host/hostess roles that demonstrate professionalism and adaptability

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
