Server/Cashier

**Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Server/Cashier to join our team. As a Server/Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions accurately, and ensuring customer satisfaction. **Responsibilities:** - Greet customers warmly and take their orders promptly - Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience - Process payments using POS systems and handle cash transactions accurately - Assist in bussing tables, refilling drinks, and ensuring cleanliness in the dining area - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation - Adhere to food safety standards and handle food with care to maintain quality - Utilize basic math skills to calculate bills and make change for customers - Support café operations by helping with various tasks as needed - Drive sales by promoting specials, new menu items, and loyalty programs **Skills:** - Proficient in food safety practices to maintain a clean and hygienic environment - Ability to upsell and recommend menu items effectively - Familiarity with kitchen operations to facilitate smooth communication with the kitchen staff - Experience in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of basic math for accurate billing and handling of cash transactions - Willingness to assist in various tasks to support overall café operations - Competence in food handling procedures to ensure customer safety - Previous experience in a café or sales environment is a plus This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic café setting.
