Job Description: Dining Server

Must have Senior Living Experience

Mealtime is an important part of every resident’s day at Providence Senior Living. Each meal is not only a time to meet the resident’s nutritional needs, but also a time to socialize and reminisce about family traditions and memories around the dinner table. As a Food Server, you play an integral part to create a pleasing dining experience through engaging service and presentation.
Available to work early morning and/or evenings and the availablity to work weekends and holidays.

Duties:

• All servers to project a positive, friendly, and helpful demeanor when serving our guests.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the menus.
• Ability to perform all steps of service in the dining room
• Side work duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Available to work early morning and/or evenings and the availablity to work weekends and holidays.
• Leads by example exhibiting the core values through servant leadership.
• Must have a high school diploma.
• Experience in food service is a plus.
• Must demonstrate the ability or work responsibility, as a team member as well as an individual
• Must be dependable, respect confidentiality, and the rights and privacy of others.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and general public.
• Must practice and promote Providence Policies, Mission Statement, Core Values, and Founding Principles.
• Must be 18 years of older.
• Meet all health requirements and pass background check.
• Maintain Providence Living grooming standards in the employee handbook, including, but not limited to body piercings and tattoos.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
