Service Associate (female)

Job Summary:

The Service Associate is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by managing front counter operations, assisting in cashier duties, serving customers, and ensuring a welcoming dining experience. This role requires a multi-skilled individual who can efficiently handle guest interaction, order processing, and service support.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Guest Handling

  • Greet and welcome customers in a polite and professional manner
  • Assist customers with menu selection and provide recommendations
  • Ensure a positive dining experience for all guests
  • Act as a GROby engaging with customers and addressing their needs

Order Taking & Counter Management

  • Take accurate customer orders at the counter
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter area

Cashier Support

  • Assist the cashier in billing and payment handling
  • Ensure accuracy in order punching and billing
  • Handle basic transactions when required

Serving & Floor Support

  • Serve food and beverages to customers efficiently
  • Monitor tables and ensure cleanliness and proper setup
  • Support overall floor operations during peak hours

Upselling & Sales Support

  • Promote ongoing deals, add-ons, and special items to customers
  • Encourage upselling to increase average order value
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, combos, and promotions

Complaint Handling

  • Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally
  • Escalate serious issues to the supervisor/manager when necessary
  • Ensure quick resolution to maintain customer satisfaction

Teamwork & Coordination

  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
  • Support team members during rush hours
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative work environment

General Responsibilities

  • Follow all company SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards
  • Maintain personal grooming and professional appearance
  • Perform any other task assigned by the Manager or Management as required

  • Sales-oriented mindset (upselling ability preferred)
