Job Summary:
The Service Associate is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by managing front counter operations, assisting in cashier duties, serving customers, and ensuring a welcoming dining experience. This role requires a multi-skilled individual who can efficiently handle guest interaction, order processing, and service support.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Guest Handling
- Greet and welcome customers in a polite and professional manner
- Assist customers with menu selection and provide recommendations
- Ensure a positive dining experience for all guests
- Act as a GROby engaging with customers and addressing their needs
Order Taking & Counter Management
- Take accurate customer orders at the counter
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter area
Cashier Support
- Assist the cashier in billing and payment handling
- Ensure accuracy in order punching and billing
- Handle basic transactions when required
Serving & Floor Support
- Serve food and beverages to customers efficiently
- Monitor tables and ensure cleanliness and proper setup
- Support overall floor operations during peak hours
Upselling & Sales Support
- Promote ongoing deals, add-ons, and special items to customers
- Encourage upselling to increase average order value
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, combos, and promotions
Complaint Handling
- Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally
- Escalate serious issues to the supervisor/manager when necessary
- Ensure quick resolution to maintain customer satisfaction
Teamwork & Coordination
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Support team members during rush hours
- Maintain a positive and cooperative work environment
General Responsibilities
- Follow all company SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards
- Maintain personal grooming and professional appearance
- Perform any other task assigned by the Manager or Management as required
