Job Summary
The Service Coordinator is responsible for managing daily service requests and ensuring seamless communication between customers, technicians, and internal departments. This role schedules appointments, tracks service progress, maintains accurate records, and ensures all jobs are handled efficiently from start to finish. A strong customer-service mindset, excellent follow-through, and the ability to manage a fast-paced workload are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule, prioritize, and manage service requests and appointments for customers across the region.
- Act as the main point of contact between customers, service technicians, and internal operations teams.
- Maintain detailed service records, job notes, updates, and documentation within company systems.
- Track job progress from initial request through completion, ensuring accurate status updates and timely follow-up.
- Communicate proactively and professionally with customers regarding schedules, updates, delays, and resolutions.
- Follow up on open issues, outstanding parts, or pending service actions to ensure timely completion.
- Assist with generating service reports, reviewing trends, and supporting process improvements within service operations.
- Coordinate with parts, dispatch, and billing teams as needed to ensure smooth workflow and complete job closure.
- Support both technicians and customers by ensuring they have the information needed for a successful service visit.
- Deliver excellent customer service through clear communication, responsiveness, and a solutions-focused approach.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in service coordination, dispatching, administrative support, or customer service; experience in mechanical trades, construction, or elevator service is a plus.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of service requests.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and ability to learn internal software systems.
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
- Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday in the Pompano Beach office.
- Ability to work occasional overtime during high-volume periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the elevator industry, service dispatching, or field service coordination.
- Familiarity with service workflows, technician scheduling, and parts coordination.
- Knowledge of Florida service and maintenance requirements for elevator equipment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
