Who We Are

Kuhn Construction & General Contracting LLC (KCGC) is a remote team with in-person team unity. We serve our customers as a national aggregate for interior and exterior commercial facility maintenance and project management for remodels, rebrands, openings, and closures of commercial retail stores and other commercial buildings. We are available 24/7, 365 days a year to our customers to provide a large array of services from window replacement to pest control, furniture repair to roofing, snow removal, and much more. Position Overview

We are a fast-growing company seeking dedicated, hardworking individuals interested in a long-term career, not just a job. This full-time position offers the flexibility of working from home and includes a 90-day training period. While the team is remote, close collaboration and supportive teammates are a hallmark of our organization.

As a Service Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will involve managing client work orders (urgent and routine), sourcing contractors, managing contractor relationships including rate & net terms negotiation, collecting documents from contractors, performing data entry into the KCGC database and client work order systems, assisting with billing (obtaining invoice, validating all requirement documents), and other duties as assigned. You will also be required to participate in on-call shifts, providing an opportunity to earn additional income. All employees must be on-call at least one weekend per month and one night a week after the training period.

Job Responsibilities

· Create and dispatch work orders

· Identify contractors with our database or utilize search engines and any available resources to find new contractors

· Determine if contractors meet minimum insurance requirements and have valid W-9 form

· Negotiate contractor pricing and payment terms

· Receive, create and submit repair quotes to the client

· Track technician progress

· Maintain accurate, detailed notes in the central database and customer systems

· Review all work assignments and document updates daily

· Communicate professionally with clients, technicians, coworkers & management

· On-call (Days, Nights, Weekends and Holidays) separately reimbursed

Requirements

· Maintenance/ trades/construction back office or property management experience - strongly preferred

· Call center, medical back office, or emergency dispatch experience - encouraged to apply

· General computer literacy: saving/converting files, internet search, AI chat - required

· MS Office 365 Suite (provided by company): Outlook, Word, Excel - basic knowledge required, intermediate/advanced preferred

· Experience collaborating virtually with MS Teams, Zoom, or equivalent

· Experience with CMM systems a plus: Service Channel, Corrigo, IFM, FMPilot2, etc.

· Strong communication skills - written & verbal (most communication is via telephone)

· Strong attention to detail - data entry and record keeping

· Resiliency - must be able to work under pressure with evolving priorities and deadlines

· High-speed internet connection

· Laptop or desktop with Windows 10 or Windows 11, processor 1.6 GHz or faster, 8gb RAM, and at least 4 GB available hard disk space

· Dual monitors

· Cell phone with unlimited long distance and internet hot spot (in the event of an internet outage)
