Service Engineer

• Undergo structured training and certification on company products and laboratory instruments.

• Read and understand equipment manuals, SOPs, and technical documentation to stay updated on instrument operation.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues (hardware, software, and application).

• Verify equipment functionality before installation to ensure readiness.

• Install, assemble and maintain laboratory medical instruments (chemistry, hematology, immunoassay analyzers, etc.).

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) as per manufacturer guidelines.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems (hardware, software, LIS issues).

• Ensure minimal downtime by providing timely service.

• Safely uninstall, pack, and prepare equipment for relocation.

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients.

• Available on-call to provide immediate assistance and troubleshoot issues during odd hours to ensure patient safety.

• Build professional relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Maintain service logs, preventive maintenance records, and installation reports.

• Prepare monthly customer load/utilization reports and share with team lead.

• Record recurring issues and suggest process improvements.

• Follow company and OEM safety guidelines during service work.
