About the Job:
Purpose of the Function:
To execute service activities including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of safety equipment and systems. The Service Engineer ensures timely and quality service delivery to support customer satisfaction, equipment reliability, and compliance with safety and technical standards.
Tasks & Responsibilities:

Carry out installation and commissioning of safety systems and products at customer sites.

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

Diagnose basic technical problems and resolve issues independently or with minimal supervision.

Ensure all service activities comply with company procedures and safety regulations.

Maintain proper documentation including service reports, checklists, and calibration logs.
-
Coordinate with customers to schedule and confirm service appointments.
-
Communicate service outcomes and issues to the Senior Engineer or Service Manager.

Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, test equipment, and spare parts.
-
Report equipment failures or repeat issues to assist in continuous improvement efforts.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior service engineers and technicians.
Additional Roles:

Support in warehouse preparation and logistics for service activities.

Support sales and product teams with technical inputs during pre-sales and after-sales phases.

Participate in training programs to upgrade technical skills and certifications.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
Related Experience:
2–5 years of experience in technical service or maintenance roles.
Experience in safety systems, industrial equipment, or gas detection is preferred.
Skills, Special Competencies, or Certifications:

Basic knowledge of safety systems such as gas detectors, SCBA, fire safety equipment.

Ability to follow technical manuals and diagrams.

Good communication and customer interaction skills.

Familiarity with service tools, multimeters, calibration devices.

Safety awareness and adherence to work-at-site protocols.
-
English language proficiency; Arabic is a plus.

Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, Confined Space, H2S, HUET & Working at Heights) are advantageous.
