Service Engineer – Biomedical

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer (Biomedical) to join our Capital Equipment Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and customer support for biomedical capital equipment installed across various hospitals. This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on experience, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules for all installed biomedical equipment in hospitals.
• Implement PM schedules in a timely manner and submit weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Conduct on-site installation, validation, and commissioning of equipment.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs at customer sites.
• Provide technical support and resolve service-related issues efficiently.
• Conduct on-site training sessions for customers and end users.
• Develop and maintain service and technical documentation.
• Update and manage service records in the company’s enterprise database.
• Handle field service calls promptly and coordinate with field application specialists where necessary.
• Ensure all required paperwork and service reports are completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Communicate proactively with customers to ensure satisfaction and take corrective actions when needed.
• Manage customer relationships for all service-related matters.
• Perform any other duties aligned with the role’s scope and capabilities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in servicing biomedical or capital equipment (preferably hospital-based).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service tasks efficiently.
• Willingness to travel to various hospital sites as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs75,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
