Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of injection molding machines at customer sites.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance and reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues in injection molding equipment.
• Carry out repairs, part replacements, machine calibration, and performance tuning.
• Diagnose faults using technical tools, PLC interfaces, and machine monitoring systems.
• Provide on-site technical support and timely response to customer service calls.
• Train operators and customer maintenance teams on machine operation, safety, and basic maintenance.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance logs, and technical documentation after each job.
• Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts planning, job scheduling, and technical updates.
• Ensure all service activities comply with safety standards, company policies, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Support machine upgrades, retrofits, and system improvements when required.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through clear communication and professional service delivery.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Experience Requirement

· Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Injection Molding Machines (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems).

Technical Skills – Service Engineer (Injection Molding Machine)

· Strong knowledge of injection molding machine operation, cycle settings, and process parameters.

· Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

· Ability to diagnose and repair machine components such as:

o Hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders

o Servo motors, drives, heaters, sensors

o Screw & barrel assemblies

o Clamping and injection units

· Experience with PLC systems (Siemens / Mitsubishi / Omron or similar) including basic programming, fault reading, and parameter adjustment.

· Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, hydraulic schematics, and machine drawings.

· Knowledge of temperature controllers, proportional valves, and control panels.

· Familiarity with robot interfaces, auto loaders, mold temperature controllers, and auxiliary equipment.

· Ability to perform machine calibration, alignment, and performance tuning.

· Competence in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, pressure gauges, flow meters, and temperature probes.

· Understanding of preventive maintenance procedures and equipment lifecycle management.

· Ability to identify root causes of machine defects and provide technical solutions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and training.
• Project management experience, including budgeting and scheduling
