Position: Service Engineer (Screw Compressor & Chiller)

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of screw air compressors, chillers, and related HVAC/industrial refrigeration systems.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize equipment downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system faults in compressors and chiller units.
• Carry out repairs, component replacements, and overhauls of compressors, chillers, motors, valves, pumps, and control panels.
• Monitor system performance, analyze operating parameters, and provide improvement recommendations.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and documentation accurately and on time.
• Respond to service calls and provide on-site technical support to customers.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding service issues, repair work, and maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with the technical team and management for spare parts, tools, and job planning.
• Train customer personnel on equipment operation and best maintenance practices (when required).
• Support commissioning of new equipment and assist in system upgrades or retrofits.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in the design, operation and maintenance of screw compressors, Chillers preferably in industries such as HVAC, oil & gas or chemical processing.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in compressor design and analysis software.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science as applied to compressor systems.
• Experience with vibration analysis, rotor dynamics, and lubrication systems.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and training.
• Project management experience, including budgeting and scheduling
