Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance & Servicing

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in elevators/escalators.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting control systems (microprocessor-based).
  • Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Educational Qualification:

  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in elevator/escalator maintenance and servicing.
  • Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered for trainee roles.

Work Environment:

  • Field-based role involving travel to various client sites.
  • May require working on weekends or during emergency breakdowns.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance of elevators and escalators as per company standards.
  • Conduct safety checks and ensure all components are functioning correctly.
  • Replace worn-out parts, lubricate mechanisms, and calibrate systems as required.
  • Breakdown Handling & Troubleshooting
  • Attend breakdown calls promptly and diagnose mechanical/electrical faults.
  • Repair or replace defective parts to restore operation within minimal downtime.
  • Maintain records of faults, root causes, and corrective actions taken.
  • Installation & Testing Support
  • Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new elevators and escalators when required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality norms during installation.
  • Customer Interaction
  • Communicate professionally with building owners, facility managers, and clients regarding service schedules and maintenance reports.
  • Provide timely updates and feedback to the customer on maintenance progress.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain detailed service reports, checklists, and breakdown logs.
  • Submit daily/weekly reports to the Service Supervisor or Regional Office.
  • Ensure proper documentation for AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) clients.
  • Safety & Compliance
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory and elevator safety regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
