Service Manager & Purchasing Agent

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Service Manager & Purchasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the Service Department and procure hoist and crane parts for service and repairs, ensuring that our supply chain operates efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong time management skills and detail orientation. The Purchasing Agent will play a crucial role in sourcing materials to support production planning and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process from sourcing to purchasing materials and supplies.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Collaborate with the supply chain management team to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Utilize our inventory management and procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure efficient transportation of goods.
• Keeping a daily schedule for the company and coordinate service calls by prioritizing emergency service and repair schedules versus installations.
• Able to multi-task and work well with others.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Strong multitasking abilitites.
• Proficiency in microsoft products is highly desirable.
• Maintain company scheduling skills via excel and outlook.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,760.00 - $58,240.00 per year
