Responsible for playing a key role in implementing and enhancing ServiceNow applications and modules like ITSM, CSM, HRSD, and TPRM/IRM. Also responsible for building user-friendly solutions and process automation, collaborating with business and technical teams to ensure the ServiceNow platform meets evolving needs.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads the development of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, CSM, HRSD, and TPRM/IRM.

Designs, develops, and implements new applications, integrations, and automation within ServiceNow.

Collaborates with internal teams to create user-friendly catalog items using Studio, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.

Automates tasks in ServiceNow, integrating with external systems and ensuring seamless data flows.

Provides guidance and mentorship to other developers, conducting code reviews and ensuring coding standards.

Innovates and improves the ServiceNow platform to solve business problems and enhance user experience.

Contributes to the development of ServiceNow as a platform for Service Delivery.

Creates design and functional documentation for validation.

Develops and executes test plans, creates test cases, tests data and contributes to appropriate software (including programming languages) development life cycle methodology (SDLC) and application of specialized business and technical knowledge.

Resolves technical issues of projects and explore alternate designs.

Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned and directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: - Bachelors or associate degree or equivalent Development experience preferred.

Experience:
7-10 years of experience in ServiceNow development including creating design patterns & implementation plans for ServiceNow enhancements.

10-15 years of overall experience in the IT industry.

ITIL v.3 Certification required. ITIL v.4 preferred

Experience working with Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, REST and API integrations.

Experience with JavaScript, JSON, XML, REST and SOAP.

Experience on creation and customization of complex workflows and custom workflow activities using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.

Experience working with Performance Analytics, email notifications, inbound actions, reports, gauges, and dashboards.

Experience in CMDB, Discovery, CI models and CI organization.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Expertise in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CSM, HRSD, and SPM.

Proficient in ReactJS, Angular, Bootstrap, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Expertise in automating tasks and integrations using JavaScript within ServiceNow.

CSA or CIS certifications are a must; additional certifications in HRSD, SPM, or CIS-ITSM are a plus.

Proficiency in gathering requirements and converting BRDs into technical requirements.

Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensures client satisfaction.

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Teams, Excel).

Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior.

Physical Requirements: - Ability to speak/hear clearly in person and on the telephone. Ability to operate a computer keyboard. Ability and willingness to travel to remote locations, as needed. Ability to work evenings and weekends as required to meet business needs. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

The range for this position is $110,900 - $155,100 and is based on an employee located at our corporate headquarters in San Diego. If the candidate is hired in a different city to work remote, we may apply a geographic pay differential based on the cost of labor in the market in which the employee resides.
