Service Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Plumber to join our team. This role requires expertise in a wide range of plumbing services, including sewer and drain cleaning, sewer inspections, repairing and replacing fixtures, and diagnosing and fixing water leaks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with plumbing systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and low water pressure.
• Repair and replace water heaters, faucets, toilets, sinks, garbage disposals, and other plumbing fixtures.
• Perform drain cleaning and sewer line maintenance using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Identify and fix water leaks in walls, ceilings, and underground piping.
• Read and interpret blueprints and plumbing schematics.
• Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining plumbing issues and recommended solutions to clients.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and service reports.
• Respond to emergency plumbing calls as part of an on-call weekly rotation.

SKILLS:

• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
• Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills -Friendly with a great deal of patience
• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour
