Service Plumber

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and professional Service Plumber to join our growing team. This is a full-time, hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, can think critically in the field, communicate effectively with customers, and independently diagnose and resolve plumbing issues in both routine and emergency situations.

This position is ideal for a technician who is comfortable working directly with customers, utilizing technology in the field, and providing high-quality workmanship while maintaining professionalism on every service call.

Schedule & Availability:

• Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call rotation required for after-hours emergency service calls

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to residential and/or commercial service calls in a timely and professional manner
• Diagnose plumbing issues accurately, including leaks, clogs, water heaters, piping, and system failures
• Use strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify effective solutions in the field
• Perform repairs, replacements, maintenance, and new installations based on customer needs and job scope
• Handle emergency service calls during scheduled on-call rotations
• Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service during all interactions
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding diagnostics, repairs, recommendations, and completed work
• Utilize tablets, mobile devices, and CRM/service software for work orders, notes, diagnostics, photos, and customer communication
• Provide accurate updates, material needs, and service information to dispatch and office staff
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
• Ensure all work is completed to code, company standards, and customer satisfaction
• Keep service vehicle stocked, organized, and properly maintained
• Identify additional service opportunities when appropriate

Qualifications:

• Active Journeyman Plumber License preferred
• Minimum 2 years of plumbing or service technician experience required
• Strong experience in residential and/or commercial service work
• Ability to independently diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing systems
• Strong customer service, communication, and professionalism
• Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, CRM systems, and digital work order platforms
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete multiple service calls per day
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or emergency situations

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record preferred
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
• Reliable transportation to and from work

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
