The Sales Support Representative (German speaker) is primarily responsible for supporting the sales of assigned services to grow revenue and enhance customer satisfaction. This role aims to improve customer satisfaction and revenue growth by effectively managing sales leads and opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers and partners. By serving as an escalation point and collaborating with various teams, the Service Sales Support Representative ensures timely and effective customer service, optimizes the install base, and drives continuous improvement in sales processes.
Additionally, this position involves providing product and service selection assistance to customers, end users, field sales, IT channels, distributors, and resellers within the designated territory. The representative will develop product-related awareness and knowledge for both internal and external customers, and represent the company to customers. Partnering with field sales, the representative will support and influence designated sales goals.
Main Responsibilities:
Languages: German (B2–C1) and English (fluent) required; additional European languages are an advantage
Strong understanding of software applications and customization capabilities
Technical sales aptitude and analytical skills
Market, industry, channel, and competitive knowledge
Knowledge of export business rules (as required)
Negotiation and consultative selling skills
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships through active listening and timely issue resolution
Strong business acumen and ability to navigate corporate and channel structures
Teamwork, networking, and continuous learning mindset
Adaptability and ability to drive change and process improvements
Ability to build and manage a sales funnel using CRM tools with accurate reporting
