Service Technician

We are looking for a Service Technician to join our wind farm project in Egypt, Ras Gharib area, you will be part of a permanently employed dedicated technician team. You will be carrying out all of the duties associated with the service and scheduled maintenance of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) wind turbine generators.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Planning and executing assigned own “Preventives, Correctives” maintenance of Wind turbine generators.
• Analyzing technical problems on site
• Completion of mechanical and/or electrical repairs and work orders.
• Executing ramp up, setting up and start procedures to prepare machines and equipment for operations
• Contribute to installation projects on site and support accountable Industrial Engineers. Supports maintenance of technical documentations of processes and equipment.
• Coordinating and accomplishes defined service operations and/or resolves product issues for customers’ equipment.
• Adhering to H&S and all defined processes and applicable regulations

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Proven experience of technical background “2-5 Years of Experience” is preferable.
• Good in English.
• Excellent in dealing with computer, note pad, MS office applications.
• Knowledge about SAP applications of technician’s onsite activities “FSM” is Preferable.
• Experience of renewable energy is preferable.
• Ideally you will have a Comprehensive understanding of and a consistent ability to demonstrate your own competency levels as a Technician, Competent Technician, Maintenance Technician or above
• A self-motivated individual with ability to cope with the pressures of time
