Description:
SFI is seeking a talented and motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing, configuring, and optimizing the ServiceNow platform to meet client needs and enhance organizational functionality.
As a member of an agile team, you will:

Deliver iterative improvements and enhancements to the platform.

Collaborate with application teams to design and implement data interfaces with other enterprise systems.

Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs (including scripting).

Support the design and updates of Service Portal front-end components.
-
Perform production deployment tasks in preparation for releases.
Work Arrangement:
This position offers a flexible, primarily remote work arrangement, with the understanding that occasional on-site presence may be required to support client needs.

Develop, configure, and customize the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs.

Create and manage workflows, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs.

Design and implement data interfaces with other enterprise applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements.
-
Implement ServiceNow best practices for development, configuration, and customization using No Code/Low Code approaches.

Participate in agile development processes, providing input and feedback to improve team performance.

Utilize scripting techniques to develop custom widgets and solutions for the Service Portal.

Assist in designing and updating Service Portal front-end components.
-
Perform production deployment tasks in preparation for releases.

Maintain an understanding of ServiceNow database hierarchies and design principles.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
-
Assist in providing technical support and guidance to team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.

3+ years of relevant IT development experience.

Custom Workspace Development: Implement custom workspaces using UI Builder and develop comprehensive analytics dashboards.
-
Vulnerability Response & Configuration Compliance: Design, implement, and support runbooks, workflows, and procedures.
-
SecOps Platform: Experience designing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the ServiceNow SecOps platform, including modules such as Security Incident Response (SIR), Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability Response.

Workflow Automation: Skilled in creating workflows using Workflow Editor, Workflow Designer, runbooks, and playbooks to streamline vulnerability management and incident response.

Data Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor and analyze vulnerability data from various sources to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Technical Expertise: Provide advanced technical support for ServiceNow capabilities including SIR, Vulnerability Response, Configuration Compliance, and Performance Analytics.

HAM and SAM Implementation: Experience with CMDB and HAM/SAM modules, Discovery, and integrations. Troubleshoot issues such as normalization, entitlements, metrics, allocations, and foundation data aligned to CSDM.

Data Integration: Ability to configure integrations (Service Graph Connectors / Integration Hub) with tools like Splunk, SCCM, JAMF, or equivalent for software inventory.

Communications: Conduct discovery workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and process workshops to educate customers on best practices and recommend scalable solutions.

Knowledge of client and server scripting, ServiceNow REST APIs, and widget development.

Experience with Agile methodologies (Agile 2.0) for software development.

Knowledge of the ServiceNow app engine and custom application development/support.
-
Experience with advanced scripting, Performance Analytics, Reporting, and other use cases is highly desirable.

Demonstrated understanding of ITIL processes, operations, and procedures.
Certifications: Basic ServiceNow certifications (CSA and CAD) required.

Clearance: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Background checks may include Criminal History, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Certifications, and Credit History.

Salary: $90,000 – $140,000 annually. SFI maintains broad salary ranges to account for variations in skills, experience, market conditions, and location.
