Position Objective
As a ServiceNow Developer, responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform to support IT Service Management (ITSM), Enterprise Service Management (ESM), and digital workflow initiatives. The role focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality ServiceNow solutions aligned with business objectives and digital transformation initiatives.
Job Description & Responsibilities

Design, configure, customize, and maintain ServiceNow applications including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and related modules based on business requirements.

Develop and maintain scripts, workflows, business rules, integrations, and automation using JavaScript, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow APIs.

Implement and enhance ServiceNow modules in alignment with platform best practices, governance standards, and security requirements.

Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues to ensure system performance, reliability, availability, and security.

Collaborate with architects, administrators, and technical teams to design scalable and maintainable ServiceNow solutions.

Stay updated with ServiceNow releases, features, capabilities, and industry trends to recommend continuous improvements and innovations.

Work closely with project managers, business analysts, stakeholders, and end-users to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.

Provide technical guidance, support, and knowledge sharing to internal teams and stakeholders.

Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and release management activities to ensure quality deliverables.

Identify opportunities to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency through ServiceNow capabilities.

Support digital transformation initiatives by leveraging ServiceNow platform functionalities and workflow automation.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation including configurations, integrations, workflows, and development standards.

Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide training to end-users and administrators on newly implemented features and functionalities.

Ensure all development activities comply with organizational standards, security policies, and IT governance frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration.

Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and Service Catalog.

Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, Flow Designer, REST/SOAP APIs, and integrations.

Experience in ServiceNow platform customization, workflow automation, and application development.

Good understanding of ITSM processes, ITIL framework, and enterprise workflow management.

Experience with integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems.

Knowledge of ServiceNow best practices, platform governance, security, and upgrade management.

ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) will be considered an advantage.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
