Job Description

We are looking for a patient, caring, and responsible Shadow Teacher to provide one-to-one support to a student attending ICS Al Danah International School.

The selected candidate will work closely with the student, parents, classroom teacher, and school inclusion team to support the student’s learning, communication, social development, behaviour, and participation in classroom activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support during lessons and school activities.
• Help the student understand and complete classroom instructions and assignments.
• Support focus, communication, emotional regulation, and daily routines.
• Encourage independence, confidence, positive behaviour, and social interaction.
• Adapt learning activities according to the student’s individual needs.
• Observe and record the student’s progress and areas requiring additional support.
• Provide regular updates to the parents.
• Coordinate professionally with teachers and the school inclusion team.
• Maintain the student’s privacy, safety, and well-being at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Shadow Teacher, Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or Special Education Assistant.
• Experience supporting children with additional learning or developmental needs is preferred.
• Patient, compassionate, calm, responsible, and dependable.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Strong communication and classroom-support skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the UAE.
• References and relevant certificates may be requested.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
