SHAFAF Pickup Operator

This role involves driving and operating SHAFAF pick-up trucks to transport LPG cylinders to various destinations in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and check regularly the SHAFAF pickup condition in order to ensure that is sound to be operated during and at each commencement of work.

Follow the rules and regulations and traffic department, such as speed limit and safely orientations.

Load/unload cylinders to / from SHAFAF pickups as per the dispatch clerk orientations.

Responsible of inspecting the cylinders at customer site for any damage to avoid any stock shortages.

Good communication skills with customers, knowledge of supply chain management / logistics, computer skills, problem-solving, planning skills.

Fluency in English and / or Arabic.

Minimum Qualifications:

Secondary (12 Years) education or equivalent, is preferred.

Valid Qatar driving license for Driving Medium Truck.

Minimum Experience:

Minimum three (3) years of experience, preferably in distribution LPG cylinders or petroleum products.

Training / Certification:

Defensive driving training

Basic firefighting training

Land Transportation of Dangerous goods.
